I'm Pieter Leek
Industrial Troubleshooter | OT/IT Systems & Integration
When a production line goes down, call me. I quickly see how a system works, where it fails, and what needs to happen to get it running again.

Technical Services
Hands-on intervention and technical expertise for industrial environments under pressure.
Intervention & Troubleshooting
When things stop working and the pressure is on, I step in. I diagnose system failures across disciplines — network, software, data flow, integration, electrical — and I do not stop until the root cause is found and the system is running again. Most troubleshooters are deep in one discipline. I am not. In a crisis, that range is exactly what you need, because the problem rarely sits where you expect it.
Industrial Networking & Infrastructure
Stable systems start with predictable infrastructure. I design and troubleshoot industrial networks, segment traffic appropriately and optimise connectivity so processes stay reliable under pressure. From shop floor to cloud.
On-Site Commissioning & Support
I work worldwide, on location, where systems need to be tested, aligned and stabilised in practice. Commissioning, cutovers, FAT/SAT support and practical integration assistance — handed over cleanly so your team can carry it forward.
System Integration
Bridging OT and IT where they need to work together but were never designed to. I connect industrial systems, software layers and data flows into a coherent whole — pragmatically, without overengineering.
About
I work at the intersection where IT infrastructure meets the industrial floor — and where most specialists stop at one side or the other.
My background runs from electrical systems and industrial networking to software development and cloud infrastructure. That breadth is not incidental. In a crisis, that range is exactly what you need — because the problem rarely sits where you expect it.
I move comfortably between strategy, engineering teams and the shop floor. Ideas do not stop at the whiteboard. I make sure they work in operations.
I work remotely on analysis and design, but I travel when it matters — and I mean that literally. When systems need to be tested, aligned or stabilised, I am there. That has taken me to sites across Europe and beyond, and I prefer it that way.
Reference Work
Designing Defensible Industrial Systems
To validate how I think about industrial architecture, I designed and built a working reference implementation of a defensible OT/IT system — from field sensors to cloud, following IEC 62443 zone segmentation, Zero Trust identity, NIS2 compliance readiness, and ISA-95 data modeling.
This is not a simulation. Zone 1 and Zone 2 are built and operational — ESP32 sensors with mTLS certificate identity, a hardened MQTT broker, NTP as a security control, ISA-95 namespace enforcement, and an Ignition SCADA node. All containerized, version-pinned, and declaratively managed in Git.
A six-part video demonstration series is in production, documenting each architectural layer under simulated failure conditions. The full technical paper is available below.
